Important change the color mode from indexed to RGB Image -> Mode -> RGB If the animation is optimized I suggest unoptimise it. That goes in your Gimp profile folder C:\Users\your-name\.gimp-2.8\plug-ins.ġ. Go to and get (near bottom of list the plugin interleave-layers-0.4.py No need to re-invent the wheel, there are scripts and plugins to merge animations. I have looked through other threads and found nothing.
I have tried the script plugin but I don't know how to use it because I am a noob at scripting. Any help appreciated.(05-27-2017, 04:58 PM)tybonel13 Wrote: I need a way to add a fixed image to every frame of a previously made gif without going through each frame one by one. However, the image viewer displays the image correctly. Of course, hand and wall would be on separate layers. I want to have a hand appear to come out of a wall. I was hoping to copy the 1920 x 1080 very thin box with the objects inside into my 1920 x 1080 GIMP file and have it all line up, but it is shifted and larger. I have a 1920 x 1080 very thin box around the objects in MS Powerpoint. I've got it to work perfectly except the objects pasted into GIMP aren't located properly. I want to copy/paste text, boxes & arrows from MS Powerpoint into GIMP 2.8.22, then export to PNG so these can be put onto a video timeline. I want to use GIMP to create transparent PNG images. The device is configured and working, but every time I try to use it with GIMP, I get a 'GEGL Operation' window.Īny ideas how I can use it to actually draw something? I bought an Intuos One pen and tablet, which I'm trying to use on GIMP 2.1 Posted by: ponzored - 11-22-2018, 07:22 AM - Forum: General questions Using Intuos One Pen brings up 'GEGL Operation' - how to fix?
Which seems to suggest that by loading layerfx.2.8.py into my plugins folder, as a Windows user, I would gain the option of previewing my effects. Posted by: hellousers - 11-22-2018, 01:06 PM - Forum: Extending the GIMP I have used the green refresh button with no result. They do appear in the personal pattern folder all right but refuse to enter the pattern grid. I am now attempting to add three pictures (png, jpg) to that list. I have several pictures both in my personal users\username\gim2.8\patterns folder and in the patterns grid/list. How on earth do I get rid of this dotted border so that I can continue working on my file? With that there I can't do anything with my file (can't erase, can't draw, nothing).įor obvious reasons the first thing I did was go to Select and choose 'None' but this didn't get rid of it. If I drag a text box over my image, but then realise I've forgotten to do something (erase a line / add a line / whatever) and click on a different tool (eraser / pencil / whatever) I'm left with a yellow box of 'walking ants' where my text box had previously been. Clicking on an ARW (Sony raw) file no longer brings up Nufraw as it did in earlier releases of 2.10. I recently moved up to the AppImage of 2.10.8. The manual explain explains how to select the origin and target colors, as I wrote above but doesn't say how you actually apply the change. Then, what do I do to actually exchange the colors? I clicked on "apply" but the "exchange color" window just closed and nothing happened in my selection. Black is already preselected in "target color" by default. I selected a sample pixel of the color I want to change to black in "from color". So, I want to change the color of pixels in an area of a picture from some kind of brown/purple to black.
Keep in mind that it's the first time ever that I'm using GIMP so I've no clue how one would routinely use any basic function. Posted by: odastein - 11-24-2018, 10:55 PM - Forum: General questions You have to register before you can post on our site.
